Privacy

The short version

This website does not collect your personal information. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels and no third-party analytics that identify you.

What this site collects

Nothing that identifies you. The site is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare’s cookieless traffic measurement, which reports aggregate page views and referrers. It does not set cookies, does not build a profile of you across sites, and does not record your IP address in a form we can read.

The site remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. That choice stays in your own browser and is never sent to us.

Services we use

Some actions take you to services we do not operate. Anything you give them is handled under their own privacy policies:

• Applications and sign-ups use Google Forms.
• Our mailing list uses Mailchimp. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we only add people who asked to be added.
• Social links take you to Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, which track their own users under their own policies.

We only ask for what we need to run an event, only club executives who run that event can see it, and we do not sell or share it.

Photos at our events

We take photos at our events and may post them on this site and on our social media. If you would rather not appear, tell a member of the team at the event, or email us afterwards and we will remove the photo.

Your rights

Under Quebec’s Law 25 and Canadian federal privacy law you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

The club’s President is the person in charge of the protection of personal information. Email mcgillxr@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
